Description
In the centre stands a draped portrait figure, apparently a man, though according to Fa3 a woman. Two putti hold a curtain behind the woman and also hold a basket on their outer hands. At each side stand three putti as Seasons or huntsmen. On right by the central figures a putto carries a sheep by its foreleg and holds a sheaf of corn on his other arm; a dog lies on left at his feet. The next putto holds up a rabbit by its hind legs as a dog leaps up for it. On far right a putto stands crosslegged leaning on a spear and turning to right, although looking back over his shoulder to left. A deer sits on right at his feet. On left of centre a putto holds a bundle of rods (?); a dog sits at his feet on right and looks up at him. The next putto holds up a large bird by the legs and a dog leaps up on right to reach it. On left a nude putto stands resting on a staff and holds a dead animal by its hind leg with its head on the ground.
