Description
Content (description)
A barbarian in a long-sleeved tunic rides right on a rearing horse, but turns and looks back over his shoulder. He rides through the swirling waters of a river. The border appears just below the barbarian's foot, but the relief has been extended and water swirls on below this. At top left is a large oval shield decorated with a stylized leafy pattern. In the background are the crossed bars of a wooden structure.
