Description
The procession moves right led by a male on the back of a bull, the head of which is held by a male wearing a loincloth. Then a nude youth and an infant satyr help a bearded male in a himation, perhaps Silenus. Three males stand in the background. Next comes a nude captive, his hands bound behind his back, followed by a lion, round which cluster two satyrs, Pan and a bearded male. They are followed by a nude youth with a staff and, in the background, two draped putti riding two elephants. In the foreground Silenus with a cup and a bunch of grapes rides on the back of a sagging panther. On left Dionysus drives in his chariot with a satyr. It is not clear how the chariot is drawn, perhaps by the elephants. A youth and a bearded male look on in the background
