Description
Attis, with shaggy hair and short beard, stands wearing his usual costume: a recumbant animal, trousers fastened with a string at the waist and buttoned at intervals down the front of his legs to the knee, high sandals and a himation hanging from his left shoulder and outstretched left arm. His right arm is raised at his side, holding a rod (?). There is a tree trunk by his right leg. At the bottom of the base on which the statue stands is written SOLDATO FRIGIO STATUA DI GAL.DI S.A.R.T
