Description
Diana stands with her weight on her left leg, her left arm raised, originally resting on a spear. She wears boots and a skin draped diagonally across her torso. Her hair is drawn back and falls on her neck, and she has a crescent moon over her forehead. She holds some object in her right hand by her side. Behind her legs is a tree trunk. The statue is viewed obliquely from left.
On the back of the drawing is very faint evidence of a preliminary pencil drawing of entwined figures.
