Content (description)
Achilles stands in the centre in corselet and helmet, holding his shield and adjusting his helmet, while his servant fits his greaves to his legs. On right stand a youth wearing only a cloak and holding a spear, and an armed warrior gesturing right. A horse's head appears over the youth's shoulder. On left a half-draped bearded figure, wearing a conical cap (Odysseus?), addresses Achilles and gestures to left. Behind him a man wearing a cloak and helmet leads a horse to left.
