Description

Content (description)

The rounded end of a sarcophagus. On far right is a part of a male figure beneath a pine tree. Towards him strides a nude male carrying an infant on his shoulder. A second nude male reclines on the ground at his feet and gestures to the infant. Further left a centauress ( her body restored with a sea-monster's tail) suckles a boy. Top left a nude bearded old male sits on rocks and holds a torch. To right of him a bull stands on a rock line and eats the foliage of a tree.
