Description

Content (description)

On left a statue of the huntress Diana stands on a pedestal, in front of which sits a lion to right. Then two males stand to right, one wearing a loin-cloth and holding a mask on a pole, his left foot raised on an axe(?), the other nude and holding a palm branch and a thunderbolt(?). On right a draped female sits to left on a lion-legged stool, resting her feet on the head and coils of a sea-monster and holding a bow in her right hand. Far right another female moves left carrying a pole, from the cross-piece of which hangs an oval object and a flying fillet. A lion sits to left by her side.
