Nude Mars stands with sword, shield, sword-belt and helmet, tree-trunk by his right leg. On his right stands Venus, her left foot raised slightly on greaves (?), drapery round her legs, and stretches out her arms to him. By her right leg stands Cupid in front of corselet, holding a burning torch. According to Montelatici, a small marble group.
