Description

Content (description)

Two herms with archaistic bearded heads, wearing garlands from which fall fillets by the ears. Each head supports an abacus topped by a strange pear-shaped object. A moulding runs round the shaft at chest- level and two feet appear at its base on two steps, the lower of which curves out at the front. The herms seem identical except for their garlands.
