Description
On left hero in armour leads horse through arch, attended by a youth wearing a conical helmet. In centre hero rides forward with a gesture of triumph, having just fixed his spear in the shoulder of a lion on right. A female with sword, helmet and short tunic-Virtus-follows the hero. Between her feet a lioness rends a horse. Three dogs surround the lion which rests its paw on the knee of a hunter injured on the ground. Upper right are three more hunters, one on horseback.
