Description
Content (description)
On left two putti hold a lyre between them; a cylinder with domed top stands on the ground to right. Then a putto plays the double flute and dances right, a tiger by his feet. In the centre by a tree trunk a drunken putto waves his cup in the air, while another tries to support him. The next putto dances ecstatically to right and a snake emerges from a cista on the ground at his feet; a mask lies behind him. The two putti on right move right, one playing the Pan pipes, while the other carries a jug and a thyrsus. All the putti are winged and wear a loose drape over one shoulder.
