Description

Content (description)

Four Bacchic figures, perhaps the relief decoration of no. 55, move to right.
29: a maenad, fully draped, holds the Pan pipes in her right hand. Her left hand is missing and the object on her wrist is not clear. On right a bearded nude satyr carries an enormous crater on his shoulder.
30: a young satyr plays the double flute, a skin billowing out behind him. On right a nude satyr stands with his right arm raised above his head, holding a pedum on his left arm, and twists from left to right. A large rounded object appears behind his back.
