Description
On left Silenus rides to right on an ass, supported by two satyrs. A tree grows in the background and Pan-pipes lie on the ground. A rock mound runs right along the background. Behind it a maenad strikes her tympanum on right and a snake coils down it on left. Further right there stands a figure with Pan head and female body, holding a rod in each hand. It is not clear whether the figure is standing behind the rock or is draped from the hips down. On far right a maenad with a drape round her hips and over her left arm gestures back to left, while a satyr behind the rocks by a tree also looks back.
