Description
On an oval ground, nude Venus reclines with her back to the viewer, leaning with her left elbow on a dolphin on which perches a winged putto. He rests an arm on her left shoulder, while she raises her right hand to her head. Over the rocks on which she sits is drapery, an end of which floats in the air by her right elbow.
