Description
On right a bear rears against a gladiator who raises his sword over his head to strike. In centre a lioness or tiger rears to left against a gladiator's shield. On left a lion rears to left; beneath it lies a gladiator, still holding his round shield. A fourth gladiator is visible in the background behind the lion. All the animals wear decorated harness around their necks and behind their forelegs. All the standing gladiators carry curved rectangular shields and wear tunics and helmets.
