Description
On right a satyr, brandishing a club, rides on a lion, followed by a satyr and draped maenad. They lead a donkey, on the back of which rides a satyr carrying a large shallow basket of grapes on his head. Pan follows and then comes a maenad piping as two lions, driven by a putto, draw a carriage in which Dionysus reclines. Next comes an elephant with two small captives on its back, followed by two maenads, a satyr, and lastly a maenad carrying a lidded bowl. Eight putti are dotted around here and there and ten other bacchic figures occupy the background.
