Bm 8. 43 and 44 are catalogued together being drawings of the same sarcophagus
Description
Two winged putti old a roundel in the centre, in which is the bust of a man. Beneath the roundel are two cornucopiae, crossed. At each side stand two winged putti as Seasons, each holding up a basket of fruit (?). The inner putto of each group holds a fold of his cloak, the outer one on right has a staff, the one on left a reed. Between each pair a basket of fruit stands on the ground, and on it perches a large bird (peacock?)
