Description
On left a putto carries a bolster-like load over his shoulder to right. A putto seated on a mound holds metal on an anvil, while two putti swing hammers above their heads to beat it. A putto carries a helmet right, where a putto wrapped in a cloak sits and hammers at the figured surface of a round shield, which is held on an anvil by two other putti. In the background is a temple, with a running animal in the pediment. On right two putti run to one another with arms outstretched, both looking to right where, beyond a small tree, two putti examine a corselet. On far right a putto stands and gestures to the corselet.
