In the centre, within a cave surround, Mithras kneels on the back of the fallen bull and sticks a dagger in its neck. A dog leaps up and a snake rears itself toward the wound. A bird flies down from upper left. Cautes and Cautopates stand cross-legged, one at each side of the cave surround, on left with torch raised, on right with torch inverted.
