A bearded man grieves in the background, and a youth stands on right with his back to the viewer, turning to left. A grieving woman rushes out with arms outstretched, supported by a woman. Two youths ride on horseback to right, where an old man sinks at the knees, supported by two youths. On right a woman kneels in front of a tomb and sticks a dagger into her side, while an attendant tries to support her. At far right a veiled woman sits in mourning at the foot of a tree to left.
