Description
Content (description)
4: on left a female, almost nude, sits on a rock to right and embraces a youth who stands before her. A draped female approaches from right, blowing a long horn. On right stand three draped females, the first turning to left, the second moving left but turning to look right with a gesture, the third looking right, her back to the viewer.
5: on left a draped female carrying a lyre moves left. In the centre three females, the one on right kneeling, attempt to restrain Achilles, who makes a rush to right. A large helmet lies on the ground at his feet, and a putto stands by it. Above the head of the kneeling female two horses seem to burst out of clouds towards right, a large curving line above them.
6: a female on left, partly also on 5, moves to left, her left arm outstretched, but looks back over her shoulder to right. By her stand two soldiers in attitudes of astonishment as they look to centre. On right a soldier embraces an old man, watched by a soldier in background left.
7: on right. of the old man, who overlaps sheets 6 and 7, stands a youth in an attitude of surprise. On far right stands a young female, partly cut off by the border.
