Content (description)

a) Two views of a statue of a seated griffin, its wings spread upwards, its right forepaw raised on a wheel. Perhaps identical with Bm 12.14
b) A statue of one of the Dioscuri, wearing a cap and cloak and standing on a rock mound by the side of his horse, which stands with its right forehoof raised. The statue stands on a high, many-faced base, the side panel of which is decorated with three coats of arms. The statue is viewed from the side, slightly to the back.

This statue, and its companion, of the two Dioscuri, flank the entrance to the Capitol at the top of the great flight of steps.
