Content (description)

The ritual objects are set side by side across the reliefs as follows:
a) simpulum, boukranion and vittae, decorated prow with wolf's head to right, steering paddle, ornament from ship's prow with swan's head, anchor and aplustre ( ornament from ship's stern).
b) anchor, acrostolium (object from ship's stern), prow with boar's head to left, boukranion, simpulum, a decorated acerra with open lid and a laurel twig.
c) patera with flora decoration, boukranion, prow with head of sea-monster to left, anchor, acrostolium, aplustre.
d) aplustre, acrostolium, anchor, prow with head of sea-monster to right, boukranion, lituus and simpulum.
