Content (description)
The lid has the form of a couch, on which recline a man and a his wife on their left elbows. They are both draped. He holds a bowl in his left hand, she holds an ear of corn in her right, which rests on a mound-like object. At the foot of the couch, which has a patterned cover, sits a putto with a cloak slung round his shoulders, resting his elbow on the arm of the couch and turning to look at the couple. The lid of Bn 1 no. 4
