The relief on the front of the plinth is shown in the centre. It shows a winged Victory, draped, holding a palm branch on her left arm and holding out a laurel wreath in her right hand. She turns her head to look to her right. A garland of leaves hangs in the background. At bottom left is the trunk of a palm tree with a spray of leaves and a cluster of fruit. On left is one of the reliefs from the side. One of the Dioscuri, wearing a cloak and holding a bird-headed sword in a decorated scabbard on his left arm, stands and turns to his right. He wears a cap on which is an eight pointed star. On right, in the other side relief, stands a bearded barbarian captive. He wears trousers with a decorated belt round his hips and a great fur cloak pinned on his right shoulder, he has a cap on his head. His hands are fastened behind his back and he turns slightly to his left.
