The sarcophagus is broken left of centre and also at far right. Ten putti, two winged are revelling. From left: putto with garland and basket of flowers; winged putto with downturned torch and slipping drape leans on his companion; the fourth holds a garland over his head and a rod (?) in his left hand; then one wearing a cloak holds Pan pipes and a flute; the next wearing a loose cloak blows a horn to right; the seventh, winged, holds up a lyre; by him a putto supports a drunken companion, whose burning torch is slipping to the ground; a dog looks up from right; at far right the putto holds up what is probably a basket of flowers.
