Description
Two views are shown of this vase, the shape of which is basically an oval goblet, extended outwards at the sides. On this extension at each side is a grinning Pan's head with a wreath at the base of his great twisted horns. Beneath the head is an acanthus leaf, from each side of which rises a vine spray to spread across front and back. The vase stands on a low foot decorated with leaves.
