The volume Bn 11, entitled Vase antiche, is devoted entirely to vases, some antique, but mostly fanciful products after the antique. A large number of the engravings have the initials AE. V and the representation of fanciful vases fall into three groups, distinguished by the inscriptions (a) sic Romae antiqui sculptores ex aere et marmore faciebant,

Description
The vase has a low foot, an ovoid body and a very tall slender neck. The slender handles, patterned as if they were plaited, rise from bearded floral masks on the shoulder and curve higher than the lip. The body is divided into four bands separated by mouldings. On the shoulder and round the bottom of the body are convex flutings; between them is a frieze with a marble-like pattern abouve a frieze of garlands and rosettes.
