Description
In a niche stands the statue of Apollo Citharoed, who wears a loose drape across his legs. He holds a lyre (or a boxy substitute for a lyre) on a pillar on his left and rests his right arm on his head.
Beneath the niche is the inscription: HERMAPHRODITI STATUA EX BASALTE DURITATIS COLORISQ/ FERREI ROMAE IN PALLATIO FARNESIANO COLLOCATA
