Description
The bust of a man with long flowing hair and beard, wearing a monk-like hooded garment and cap with fancy border, is shown in profile to right.
A plaue below him, as if on the side of the base, has a Greek inscription and also: AGNOSCE EFFIGIEM, NATURAE MAXIMUS HIC EST/ CONDUS OPUM, ATQUE IDEM PROMUS ARISTOTELES/ ROMAE/ ANNO D M D LIII/ Ant. Lafrerij. Romae
