The volume Bn 12 is described in Fa 4 as : 'Speculum Romanae Magnificentiae in loose sheets being points of ye most famous remains of buildings, amphitheatres, temples, columns, triumphal arches, mausoleums and statues in Rome - engraved by Lafrerius, Barlachus, Aen. Vicus and others'
Description
The arch is plain and has a single passageway. It bears three inscriptions, which are to be found in ILS no. 98 and CIL VI 1244-6.
Beneath the arch is the inscription:
Aquarum Marcia, Tepulae, et Juliae forma, quae nunc S. Laurentii porta vulgo appellatur. Ant. Lafreri typis/ Romae Anno sal M D L XVI
