The volume Bn 12 is described in Fa 4 as : 'Speculum Romanae Magnificentiae in loose sheets being points of ye most famous remains of buildings, amphitheatres, temples, columns, triumphal arches, mausoleums and statues in Rome - engraved by Lafrerius, Barlachus, Aen. Vicus and others'
Description
Various diagrams of the column are given. On left is a vertical section through the centre of the column; in centre, the column in elevation without its reliefs; on right five horizontal sections set by the place on the central diagram where they were taken. Measurements are given on all the diagrams and also two scales though without explanations.
