Content (description)

Against a background of ruins and buildings with figures are shown the ruins of a temple in the Forum. Three of its fluted Corinthian columns stand and support a section of entablature.
Along the lower edge of the engraving: PORTICUS TEMPLI IULII COLUMNAE TRES CUM EPISTYLII PARTE ITA UT IN FORO ROM FISSURIS SCILICET FRACTURISQ/ DEFORMES EXTANT. ANT. LAFRERII FORMIS IMPRESSAE ROMAE ANNO MDL.
