Content (description)

The pyramid is shown in its actual state with vegetation sprouting all over it. There are two inscriptions on it: ILS no. 917, CIL VI 1374. In the foreground are two figures.
Along the lower edge of the engraving: . SEPULCHRUM C CESTI EPULONIS OSTIENSI VIA/ ET PYRAMIDE ET MARMORE QUADRATO NOBILISSIMUM/ ATQ OMNIUM VETUSTISSIMUM/ ROMAE M D XLVII ANT. LAFRERII SEQUANI FORMIS
