The volume Bn 12 is described in Fa 4 as : 'Speculum Romanae Magnificentiae in loose sheets being points of ye most famous remains of buildings, amphitheatres, temples, columns, triumphal arches, mausoleums and statues in Rome - engraved by Lafrerius, Barlachus, Aen. Vicus and others'
Description
A great trophy relief is set in a landscape with aqueducts and buildings. Three putti stand at the foot of the trophy among shields and helmets. This is a companion piece to Bn. 12 no. 46. Four putti and a captive barbarian female also form part of the trophy.
Above the trophy is the inscription: TROPHEA MARII DE BELLO CYMR. PUTAT. AD AED. D. EUSEB. (?)ROM
