The volume Bn 12 is described in Fa 4 as : 'Speculum Romanae Magnificentiae in loose sheets being points of ye most famous remains of buildings, amphitheatres, temples, columns, triumphal arches, mausoleums and statues in Rome - engraved by Lafrerius, Barlachus, Aen. Vicus and others'
Description
The statue Pasquino is shown in a setting of buildings with four figures chatting in two groups. On the groundin the foreground are the ears of an ass, the top part of a boukranion, a rope tied in a noose and a scourge. On the base, in which the statue stands, is a poem in Italian describing Pasquino. At bottom right by this poem is a steel-yard. Ten panels are set in the wall by the statue with inscriptions in Latin and Italian of varying length, some very scrappy.
