Content (description)
In the centre are the portraits of a man and a woman in a roundel, surrounded by a cable of garlands. Various ropes and garlands entwine together around this to form a rough rectangle, at the corners of which are attached four more portrait roundels. From them run more garlands forming a rough square. The outer area is divided by garlands into panels which are filled with putti engaged in various activities. Putti drive in chariots drawn by deer and similar animals over the garlands. The spaces in the inner rectangle between the ropes and garlands are occupied by putti, birds, vases and flowers. In each outer corner putti sail in boats near a Triton with a cornucopia.
