Description
The side of the base of the Column of Antoninus Pius with the dedicatory inscription (found in ILS 347 or CIL VI. 1004) which is framed by anthemion motifs and the mounted figures are shown in full relief to left and right sides.
Beneath the base is the inscription:
TAB. 1/ Inscriptio qua M. Aurelius et L. Verus Antonino Pio Patri Augusto, veterum Romanorum more inter Divos relato, Monumentum dicant.
There is a scale of Roman palms beneath.
