Content (description)
The side of the base of the Column of Antoninus Pius showing a cavalry parade, in three levels. The outer edge of side shown in Bn 13. 69 is just visible on the left edge. There are anthemion borders above and below the cavalry scene. Beneath the image is the inscription: TAB III/ Funebris decursionis pompa in consecrationibus Virorum, Foeminarumque Augg. Romae observari solita/ Quartae vero tabulae cum sit huic simillima, praeterita fuit editio.
