Description
The engraving seems to show an alcove of a columbarium. The three walls are divided into two zones, in each of which niches of different shapes are arranged symmetrically. The arched niche bottom centre has three urns and is bordered with floral scroll, which sprouts from a mask. It is flanked by two reliefs of winged putti. Two garlands hang in swags over the niches which flank the central tall niche in the upper zone. In the lower part of the engraving is a mosaic. In the central circle are Pan and a winged putto. The outer parts of the mosaic are filled by floral arabesques, which rise from female busts in the centre of each side.
