Description
On a tripod base stands the circular gem or medal. On it is shown a male bust to right with a laurel branch up the left side and the inscription HORA TIUS. The gem or medal is set in the midst of a Bacchic scene: in the foreground sits half-draped Venus with Cupid at her knee and doves at her feet. At the foot of the base sits a panther. On left a half-draped satyr raises a cup over the gem/medal, while in the background a Pan with pipes points to the cup. On right a nymph or Muse with a lyre holds a laurel wreath over the gem/medal. There are trees in the background.
