Content (description)

A reconstruction of the temple is given. The Ionic columns each stand on a high pedestal, including the attached columns round the cella. There are no steps to approach the temple. A frieze of boukrania and garlands runs beneath the hefty entablature.
Inscribed, on left: TEMPLUM FORTUNAE/ VIRILIS AD RIPAS/ TIBERIS IN FORO/ PISCARIO/NUNC/MARIAE AEGIPTIACAE/ SACRATUM/ ROMAE.
Inscribed lower right: TOMASIUS BARL./ ESC M.D.L.
Inscribed on base of pedestal far left: N.B.F.
