The body is dragged to the right, led by Athena, who points the way. On far right two women are seated in attitudes of mourning. Priam stands in the background by the horses, gesturing in horrow. Three soldiers and Odysseus stand in the background on left in front of the great city wall, in which there is an arched opening on right. A figure stands in the opening. A landscape with ruins is shown in the background on right. Beneath the illustration are eight lines of verse in Italian on the event shown.
