Content (description)
In the centre a youth with a drape round his body, a sword by his side and wearing a helmet decorated with a winged dragon steps to left. By him on right on the ground is a corselet in front of a spear, against which leans a shield decorated with a mask. At bottom right is a pile of three shields, a quiver and a bow. On left is a blazing altar, ornamented with rams' heads and garlands. On the ground by the altar lie greaves and a plumed helmet, the plume of which is supported by a sphinx. At bottom left a tall vase lies on its side on a slab, in the corner of whch are the letters A.V.
