Content (description)
In the centre are three nude males at work. On left sits Neptune with his trident watching operations. There is a youth in the background to left of him. Furthe left two nude males wrestle and far left sits a nymph on a rock. On right of centre a nude male sits on the ground holding a hammer while a male holds his arm, either threatening him or helping him to get up. In the background a putto works the bellows for the forge, looking to right where a half-draped female sits with a putto by her knee and another sitting at her feet. On far right a Triton gestures to centre. There are waves across the bottom of the whole scene.
