Description
On left a man wearing a toga raises his napkin to start the race. By him on right is a lictor (?) with a rod over his shoulder. In the centre a helmetted charioteer drives a quadriga to right as a youth in the background urges him on. There is a break at far right. On the edge remain the hindlegs of a team of horses and the feet of a man lying on the ground.
