Description
Hercules, nude, sits to right on a rock on left at the foot of a tree. His club is beneath his right arm, his lionskin is over his left arm and the rock. He holds the strap of his quiver, which rests on the rocks by his feet. There are apples and leaves on the branches of the tree, among which curls a great snake, its tail among the rocks at Hercules' feet. On right facing him stands a draped female, her hair in a snood, resting her chin on her right hand and holding a branch on her left arm. At bottom left are the remains of the foot of a second female.
