Description
On obverse is the head of Hadrian, wreathed, to right HADRIANUS AUG COS III PP. On reverse a draped male (Hadrian?) in the centre, accompanied by a nude youth on right, clasps the hand of Athena on left. Below, in the foreground, recline two half-draped figures, on left a female with a cornucopia and a vine tendril, on right a bearded male with conch shell and a dolphin.
Above the coin is the inscription: NUMMUS HIC AENEUS ARTE AC RARITATE INSIGNIS.
Below the coin is the inscription: ROMAE APUD ANTONIUM BORIONUM ADSERVATUR
