Description
The sheet shows six dancing figures, on a pavement decorated with lozenges in panels but against a blank background.
Two maenads with billowing drapes dance to right, the one on right holding a tympanum. Between them a nude satyr skips to right playing double pipes.
Next a nude boy plays Pan pipes. To his right a maenad holds a tympanum and a ring, from which hang four balls. On right a nude satyr plays a great curved horn, which has twin mouths. All the figures dance to right.
Inscribed on 35 on right as if on a side wall: 1516/ A.V
